Abstract
Gao Feng, spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce, said at a regular press conference of the Ministry of Commerce on June 13 that China firmly opposes the unilateralism and bullying practices of the United States, and our position on the trade war is consistent and clear. We don't want to fight, but we're not afraid to fight. If the US side insists on having its own way and continues to escalate trade frictions, we will accompany it to the end. There are principles for cooperation and a bottom line for negotiations, and China will never give in on major issues of principle.
Is the decline in rare earth exports due to China's strengthened control?
The Ministry of Commerce responded.
In May, China's rare earth exports fell 16% month-on-month, and a reporter asked whether this was due to China's strengthened export controls on rare earths. The Ministry of Commerce spokesman Gao Feng responded at the Ministry of Commerce's regular press conference on June 13 that the volatility in rare earth exports was the result of market changes. For rare earth trade, China has not adopted new management measures.
